This week is all about transformation and the protection surrounding it.
The Lion's Gate Portal peaks this week. If you're not familiar with this modern tradition let me give you a quick run down.
As a whole the Lion's Gate runs from July 28th to August 12th, but peaks on August 8th (8/8). This happens each year during Leo season with the Earth, Sun, and the bright star Sirius appearing in alignment in the night sky. The energy may feel heightened around you, luck finds its way to you, and many are called to an awakening.
It's a great time to set goals and let go of old habits. And with Leo energy running the show there's a big focus on courage, heart, and self-expression. You may even find yourself leading the way for others to find these themes within themselves. And of course the number 8 stands for infinity, power, and the link between the spiritual and physical worlds (read: the veil is thin!).

Sunday, August 2nd
Holy emotional day, Batman. Today invites you to walk away from what no longer serves you, leaves you emotionally unfulfilled, lacks connection and/or dims your personally empowered light. Saying goodbye can be hard to do, but this ending is part of the transformation. You can't carry empty cups where you're going. So address it how you see fit, pick up your walking stick, and carry on, my love. It's okay to cry btw.
Monday, August 3rd
Monday feels very wholesome. It feels very 'circle-y' and connected. If you feel the need or craving to hug someone today or emotionally connect with someone, that tracks. Overall it feels much lighter than Sunday's goodbye. Thank the gods.
Tuesday, August 4th
Tuesday brings a shift. A big one. Where you've been feeling stuck or unsure in your life brings clarity on what forward momentum could look like to help you out of the uncertainty. This clarity may look like identifying pathways in different directions and potential each path brings. Play out the scenarios in your head. Envision them. Write them out. Pros and cons lists? Yes. Today the proverbial lightbulb blinks on above your preciously coiffed bun. "Aha," she says, "I get it now." *sips 4th coffee*
Wednesday, August 5th
Wednesday is a commit-to-the-bit kinda day. Tuesday's 'aha' moment brings you to Wednesday's ask to commit to a pathway in which to follow through upon. How many pathways did you come up with? How many are there in which you're going to commit? One? Two? All of them? The suggested advice is to commit to at least one. Two if you're nasty. Either way, choose what you're actually able to honor and what feels most aligned.
For those of you who already work with Hekate or are feeling called to do so, this is a great day to ask for help at the crossroads. Keys are a symbol associated with Hekate. If you're seeing or finding random keys... this may be the invitation to work with her. She's incredible (also, do your research on how to work with her).
Thursday, August 6th
Thursday... Some of you are going to be asked on a date, commit to an intimate partner relationship, or take the next step in your already committed relationship. For the rest of you, today brings aligned connection to yourself, friendships, or family. These are healthy partnerships. IT FEELS GOOD. This is a lovely day of connection.
The masculine energy is driven to take action in providing safe and secure energy. The feminine energy is committed to receiving love. *Reminder: energy is not gender specific*
Friday, August 7th
Doubt energy may peek it's head through the bushes today. Be reassured that you are protected. Do your best to remember that doubt energy is connected to ego (read: this is too good to be true, this isn't going to happen for me, I don't deserve good things, etc). Our ego often shows up as a check-point to make sure we're safe, too, btw (hey, nervous system!) This week's big, emotional energy rightfully asks for reassurance. Grounding techniques, checking in with a trusted friend, mindful moments with your energy, and protection rituals are encouraged today.
Saturday, August 8th (Lion's Gate Peak)
Today brings themes of fantasy and visualizations of all that could be. If you're hopping over to the Ren Faire or a music festival then that just adds to the whimsy and power of the day! You're proverbial garden is growing and there's more to come. Be courageous in your endeavors, take heart in your aligned actions, and lead the way toward your highest and best timeline yet. Everything is working out for you and it's all on purpose. You're protected. You're aligned. You're loved. You're the mane event, and I'm not lion (see what I did there?).
